Enterprise Application Engineer – University of Alaska Southeast Sitka

SummaryAn excellent opportunity to work with technologies that support the University of Alaska Southeast user community. The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and support applications and solutions that enhance the university’s services, while demonstrating strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities- Manage and support a Learning Management System and the Google Productivity Suite.
- Integrate applications with the University’s Banner ERP and Active Directory systems.
- Develop and support custom applications and install packaged software.
- Troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
- Research, recommend, and evaluate new technologies and integration approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Strong technical background in application lifecycle management, system integration, and custom development.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Ellucian Banner and Active Directory highly recommended.
- Experience in higher education or the public sector preferred but not required.
