Overview
Description:
Analysis, coding, testing, deployment support, and interface monitoring for the Rhapsody integration environment.
- Analysis – Understand client-defined requirements and perform analysis to provide the best solution within the existing system framework.
- Coding – Write code adhering to established standards with minimal complexity to enable support by developers at various levels.
- Unit Tests – Design and execute a comprehensive unit test suite.
- Documentation – Complete detailed Technical Design documentation in addition to other SDLC documents required for each release.
- Testing Support – Attend and facilitate testing sessions, troubleshoot, collect testing evidence, and engage with test leads and the client.
- Deployment – Support bi-annual releases.
- Interface Monitoring and Support – Rhapsody Interface Monitoring is performed 8:00am through 5:00pm EST with PRIMARY and SECONDARY assignments; review Rhapsody Error Queues and keep clear throughout the day; ensure all communication points are running and messages are flowing as expected; triage to owning team(s) and follow through until the problem is resolved or a ticket is created; support an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Knowledge and Skills
- Rhapsody certified
- JavaScript, XML, JSON, HL7 v2, HL7 v3 (a plus), SOAP and REST API experience
- Technical writing skills
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with a consulting mentality
- Proactive drive to learn
- Experience with data integration engines (Rhapsody preferred)
- Detail oriented with demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing environment
- Strong communication skills
5+ years’ experience as a Rhapsody Developer
Compensation$94,100 to $130,000
Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on factors including location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
