Position compensation:
- RN 1 starts at $38.90 per hour
- RN 2 starts at $44.09 per hour
- RN 3 starts at $46.29 per hour

Job SummaryRN 1:
Provides basic nursing care in predictable situations for a limited number of patients under direct supervision. Typically new graduates or returning nurses after a prolonged absence. Performance is guided by rules and competencies. RN 1’s render individualized nursing care based on the nursing process and hospital policies.
RN 2:
Independently plans and implements routine nursing care using standards and knowledge from education and preceptorship. Begins to assume leadership responsibilities and requires minimal supervision. Requires basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software programs.
RN 3:
Advanced level RN who is assigned at least one float area and renders comprehensive nursing care to patients. Performs as a Rapid Response Team and Code Team responder. May cover ED, CCU, Med/Surg, MHU, OB, and RRC as float pool staff.

Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Experience:
New graduate RNs or RNs with less than one year current acute care or comparable experience, or RN with no nursing experience in the past five years. - Certification(s):

- License:
Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Experience:
Advancement from an RN 1 or at least one year of continuous experience in a comparable patient care setting. Must remain at this level for a minimum of one year before applying for advancement. - Certification(s):

BSN preferred. - License:
Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Experience:
Three years of current clinical experience or one year as a Bartlett RN 2. New employees must obtain a float area within six months. - Certification(s):
