Registered Nurse (RN) - Same Day Care

Apply to join Bartlett Regional Hospital’s Surgical Services Team in the Same Day Care department as a Registered Nurse. This position is eligible for a sign‑on bonus, relocation assistance, and 30 days of housing. Contact Human Resources at  for details.

• RN 1: $38.90 per hour
• RN 2: $44.09 per hour
• RN 3: $46.29 per hour

• RN 1:
  Provides basic nursing care in predictable situations to a limited number of patients under direct supervision. Typically new graduates or returning nurses. Performs nursing care guided by established rules and competencies and participates in committees and teams as appropriate.
• RN 2:
  Independently plans and implements routine nursing care with minimal supervision, demonstrates leadership responsibility, and maintains effective communication. Requires basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
• RN 3:
  Advanced level nurse who provides comprehensive care, oversees at least one float area, and acts as a Rapid Response and Code Team responder. Works under the Nursing Supervisor’s oversight and may cover ED, CCU, Med/Surg, MHU, OB, and RRC.

  • License:
    Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience:
    
    New graduate RNs or RNs with less than 1 year of acute‑care experience, or no experience within the last 5 years.
  • Certification:

• RN 2
  • License:
    Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience:
    
    Advancement from RN 1 or at least 1 year of continuous comparable patient care experience.

• RN 3
  • Education:
    
    BSN preferred.
  • License:
    Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license.

    Three years of current clinical experience or one year as a Bartlett RN II.
