Starting Wage
- Certified Nursing Assistant I - $21.74+ / depending on experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant II - $25.52+ / depending on experience
Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
Job Summary
Under the supervision of a licensed RN, CNAs provide basic nursing care to patients and/or residents, supporting and maintaining a safe and clean environment. They may be assigned to a specific unit but can be floated to other areas as needed. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current State of Alaska Certified Nurse Assistant License.
- Certifications:
BLS, Food Workers Card, TEAM & BERT training within 90 days of hire. - Experience:
No prior experience required. CNA I must complete initial training and advance to CNA II within 6 months.
