Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg LPN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring current Alaska LPN licensure and at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience.

• Current Alaska LPN license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA) or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Med/Surg experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
• Completion of annual educational requirements

• Acute care Med/Surg unit with 35 beds
• Patient ratio of 6 patients to 1 LPN
• Uses MEDITECH charting system
• 12-hour night shifts, typically 7:00pm to 7:30am, including some on-call nights
• No floating to other units/departments required
• Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and those undergoing pharmaceutical treatment for illness
• Requires strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must wear own scrubs in any color except royal blue, forest green, and bright red
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• Returning travelers with prior employment at this facility must disclose it for review
