Employment Solutions is partnering with a large company to hire Ground Support Equipment Mechanics with experience working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems for many different types of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) equipment.

Locations:
Juneau, Alaska, and Ketchikan, Alaska

Pay rate: $32-$40 hour

Duties

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, and/or electrical discrepancies on various Ground Support Equipment (GSE) systems and subsystems.
• Inspect, repair, rebuild/overhaul components, such as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance.
• Document all maintenance actions using a computer-based Maintenance Information Systems (MIS).

Requirements

• 1-4 years of service repair experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC and HVAC experience.
• Associate degree or vocational certification/training may substitute for years of experience for entry level positions.
• Minimum 1-2 years performing repair and maintenance on Mobile Heavy Equipment, experience with diesel-powered vehicles preferred
• Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair required
• A valid driver's license is required
• Certifications related to automotive repair are a plus
