Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing private equity portfolio company. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and hands-on, with strong financial modeling skills and the ability to translate data into insights that support key business decisions.

Reporting to the VP/Director of Finance, this individual will play a critical role in building and maintaining financial models, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and partnering with operations and leadership to track performance and evaluate growth initiatives.

• Build and maintain financial models (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow) with focus on cash position, lender covenants, and multi-year planning.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, including department-level budgets and variance analysis.
• Conduct “what-if” and ROI analyses for new initiatives, product lines, or capital projects.
• Prepare Direct Contribution Margin (DCM) analysis at the SKU/commodity level.
• Provide financial reporting, KPI tracking, and operational analysis to support business unit leaders.
• Partner with the finance team on Board materials and presentations, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Assist in market share, white space, and competitive analyses to support growth strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on inventory planning, project tracking, and performance reporting.

• Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a corporate or private equity environment.
• Strong analytical, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and support strategic decisions.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and KPI development.
