Education:

Two (2) years of college.

Experience /

Qualifications:

Current State of Florida License. Current ARRT, CT Registry Required or obtained within 6 months of hire date. American Heart Association BLS, for Heath Care Provider. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs all CT procedures, abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax and extremities.

Demonstrates knowledge of advanced computer applications including PACS and Image manipulation for image enhancement. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and can use this knowledge to provide quality CT images for interpretation. Performs other duties as assigned. #ZR

Physical Requirements

This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert and self-motivated. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.

    • Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation
    • TB/PPD Surveillance Program
    • Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
