Associate General Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development. This role requires strong negotiation skills, legal drafting expertise, and the ability to manage complex transactions from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, and development agreements.
  • Advise clients on legal risks and obligations related to real estate transactions and property management.
  • Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning analysis, and environmental assessments.
  • Coordinate with title companies, lenders, brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate closings.
  • Provide legal support for real estate development projects, including land use and entitlement matters.
  • Represent clients in real estate disputes, including landlord-tenant issues and contract enforcement.
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting commercial real estate.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Florida or New Jersey
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate finance, leasing, and development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiation and transaction management.
