Field Application Technician; IoT, EV Hybrid Arrangement

Hands-on technical role supporting IoT hardware deployment, testing, and troubleshooting across lab and field environments regionally.

• Conduct site visits locally and overseas to deploy, test, and support hardware systems in real-world environments
• Perform on-site installation and data collection using provided diagnostic and testing tools
• Flash firmware, validate new releases, and troubleshoot technical issues
• Diagnose, repair, and restore faulty or returned units
• Perform quality control checks to ensure devices meet standards before shipment
• Manage hardware logistics including packing, labelling, and tracking shipments
• Collaborate with internal teams to share field insights and improve product reliability

• Min. Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
• Practical troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
• Comfortable performing both laboratory testing and field-based work.
• Relevant working / internship / academic experience with electronics, firmware tools, and test equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope).
• Basic understanding of CANbus, embedded systems, and IoT hardware; experience in EV or telematics is an added advantage
• Able and willing to travel overseas regularly to support installations and data collection across multiple countries.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
