First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a customer-focused, team-oriented, goals-driven Commercial Banking Service Representative II to join our Commercial Banking Team at Kahului Branch on the Island of Maui. In this role, you will provide (directly and/or through Commercial Banking Officer) customer service, sales, and operational banking and lending support for commercial banking clients, as well as prepare various management reports and customer correspondence.

Pay range is $19.00 - $24.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (hours may vary)

• Associate’s degree in Business or related field; or equivalent experience in banking/financial services operations or consultative client services, requiring application of financial acumen, critical thinking and organizational skills.
• 2 years of experience in commercial loan documentation, cash management, service delivery and/or branch operations required.
• Basic understanding of financial products and services (or equivalent experience) preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts preferred.
• Knowledge working with databases, systems, and PC desktop technology preferred.
• General understanding of all business products and services including ancillary areas, such as Business Services, Cash Management, Employee Benefits, and Corporate Cards.
• PC skills using MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to be highly accurate, thorough, and capable of timely and efficient follow-up.
• Ability to prioritize among multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow through on tasks.
• Ability to be team oriented.
