PrimaryAccountabilities Team Focused Leadership
- Contribute to the Team by reflecting on past experiences to enhance timely, accurate and balanced credit decisions.
- Lead credit discussions and possess good negotiation and loan structuring skills.
- Primarily responsible for accuracy and clarity of all documents (i.e., CAMs, correspondence, loan docs, etc.).
- Communicate actively and effectively.
- Drive and steer the request from origination to booking.
- Contribute to the development of Underwriters and Associates.
- Collaborate well with other areas of the Bank.
- Responsible to the Team for reaching or exceeding its financial goals.
- Grow the portfolio.
- Constantly seek opportunities and teach Underwriters and Associates how to pursue them with prompt follow‑through.
- Seek efficiencies for the Team.
- Build trust with clients: be attentive, anticipate, over‑deliver, communicate frequently and satisfy requests promptly.
- Continuously seek opportunities to surprise and delight clients.
- Be familiar with products and services offered by the Bank.
- Be aware of potential risks in the marketplace and industry.
- Educate and advise clients of potential risks.
- Understand and observe policies and procedures.
- Minimize ticklers, exceptions and delinquencies.
- Identify loan re‑grades promptly.
- Participate in Bank functions and training sessions.
- Contribute to the community by participating in non‑profits and other community endeavors.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial lending (sales) required.
- Perform light physical work and move or lift items up to 20 pounds.
- Operate standard office equipment (phone, copier, computer, etc.).
- Communicate verbally and in writing with all customers; sufficiently hear for daily discussions.
- Read and understand bank‑related documents.
- Work in a conventional office setting, starting at a desk for long periods; adapt to different work environments as needed.
