- Morning: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Afternoon: 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.

The Position:

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to provide hand-on care and support to our residents during short-hour shifts. This position is especially focused on assisting residents with showering, personal hygiene, meal assistance, and other activities of daily living while promoting their dignity, comfort, and independence. This is an excellent opportunity for CNAs looking for flexible, part-time hours while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Assist residents with showering, bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.

Provide hand-on assistance with meal assistance and meal-time activities, including helping residents who require support with eating and drinking.

Assist residents with toileting, transfers, positioning, and other activities of daily living.

Monitor residents during personal care and meals and report changes in condition to the appropriate nursing staff.

Communicate effectively with nurses and other members of the care team and complete required documentation accurately and timely

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. / Minimum age of 18.
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii
Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
