Job Summary

This is a sales position that reports directly to the Manager or Director of Sales. The role involves promoting the company’s products and services, building relationships with designated accounts, and helping Fresh Point customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals through in-store stocking and replenishment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Grow customer and Fresh Point sales, volume, and profit year-over-year by maintaining stock of the right items for customer demand. Stock displays according to customer-defined schematics with quality products, and remove expired or damaged items.
• Optimize consumer engagement on shelves by managing merchandise, including price changes, tagging, ad displays, and shelf arrangements. Ensure fixtures are clean for a pleasing customer experience.
• Maintain partnerships with retailers by visiting store employees, department, and store managers. Collaborate on product displays and promotions.
• Oversee product ordering to ensure adequate stock levels and arrange for credit of damaged products.
• Input orders into customer systems, resolve billing or receiving issues, and handle conflicts effectively.

Education Required

High School Diploma

Experience Preferred

2 years retail merchandising experience with a valid driver’s license

Technical Skills and Abilities

• Stock products, improve shelf positioning, and adjust facings as needed.
• Remove expired or damaged products.
• Understand store plans for product re-sets.
• Maintain client relationships through store visits and collaboration.
• Assist with displays for promotions and observe customer reactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder when necessary.
• Record inventory, hours, and surveys using computer systems.
• Self-driven with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work physically.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Physical Demands

Ability to perform physical work, often lifting up to 50 pounds.

Travel Requirements

Daily travel within the assigned territory.
