As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you'll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You'll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they're needed most.

Position Type:
Full Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Valid Driver's License

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring

• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• NOTE:
  First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to observe for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any security-related incidents or hazards.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client regarding the specific requirements of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
