Position Type: Part Time – Overnight
Pay Rate: $22.50 per Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
Job Schedule: Sat 09:30 PM – 06:00 AM;
Sun 09:30 PM – 06:00 AM.

Job Description: As an Airport Security Officer – Dispatcher, you will safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. You’ll serve as the communication hub, coordinate real‑time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers as needed.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate with the public and staff professionally while providing security‑related assistance as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and any security‑related concerns according to company and location protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure environment.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring.
• Security experience: 1+ years.
• 21+ years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam.
• Ability to obtain an AOA badge (Federal Background Check in accordance with DOT requirements).
• First two months in this position will involve working various posts for geographic familiarity on airport property.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
