As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI
, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. You’ll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations, coordinating real‑time responses, monitoring systems, and dispatching officers to where they’re needed most.

Full Time – Morning shift

$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring

• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

  First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, assisting with any security‑related concerns as they arise
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location to help deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues
• Monitor access points and observe activities to help deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior within the location
• Document and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed to support the security‑related operations of the location

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
