Who we are: Kama‘āina Kids, Hawai‘i’s largest locally owned nonprofit childcare organization, is hiring One-on-One Group Leaders to support keiki with special needs in our After School Program. In this role, you’ll build trust, encourage independence, and help one child fully participate in a safe, joyful learning environment. This position is well-suited for aspiring teachers, SPED professionals, RBTs, or anyone passionate about inclusive education and child development.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized support that helps a child engage, grow, and thrive alongside their peers.
- Weekday afternoons only — perfect for college students or those seeking rewarding, flexible work.

- High school diploma or GED
- Genuine love for working with children
- NO Teaching Certificate required
- Experience as an RBT, SPED aide, paraprofessional—or eagerness to learn
- Monday–Friday | 1:45 PM–5:30 PM
- Wednesdays (early release): 12:30 PM start
- No weekends. No nights. No take-home prep.
