SalaryEducational Assistant I, SR-10: $3,019.78 per month
Educational Assistant II, SR-12: $3,260.76 per month
Educational Assistant III, SR-14: $3,526.98 per month
ResponsibilitiesApplicants must possess a high school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent AND one of the following minimum education requirements, which have been established within the parameters described by the Federal Government s No Child Left Behind Act of 2001:

* One (1) year of General or Specialized Experience is defined as a school year (approximately 180 "teacher duty" days or approximately 38 weeks per year.
General ExperienceExperience involving direct interaction with people and the ability to provide and elicit information, observe, evaluate and take action or report accurately on different situations. There must also be evidence of organizing materials, maintaining records, and writing brief descriptions of occurrences or observations. Awareness of basic educational programs, goals, functions, and activities may be gained through involvement in school/community activities.
Specialized ExperienceWork experience involving direct contact with students, including student management and familiarity with common academic, social, behavioral, and developmental problems of students. Experience with using a variety of instructional materials, techniques, and equipment, and performing instructional, counseling, or guidance tasks and testing routines.
Driver s License RequirementSome positions require possession of a current, valid driver s license.
Lift and Carry RequirementSome positions require the ability to lift up to 65 pounds and/or lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance.
