The Hawaiʻi State Department of Education is seeking certificated teachers to join our K-12 programs. A valid Special Education license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board is required.
If hired without completing a Teacher Education Program, you have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license and must enroll in a program to continue employment. Upon hire you will need a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit.
