Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray examinations that assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The Radiologic Technologist will operate radiographic equipment, position patients for imaging procedures, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and ensure patient safety while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification required
  • Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice (where required)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
  • Knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques, radiation safety, and anatomy
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Operate radiographic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
  • Verify and transfer imaging studies through PACS and other imaging systems.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety, HIPAA, infection prevention, and organizational policies.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and maintain examination rooms and imaging equipment.
  • Communicate important findings and procedural information to physicians and the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
