Room Attendant, Full Time
Rate of Pay: $22.72/hour

Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii... King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has an opening for a talented Full Time Room Attendant to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.

Performs routine tasks of cleaning and servicing guests’ accommodations such as rooms, suites, baths, lanais, breakfast bars and other areas.

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Clean guest rooms to Company standards including but not limited to: making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
• Performs routine jobs under little or no direct supervision.
• Work is subject to inspection by supervisors.
• Follow Company policy for room amenities.
• Maintain complete security of master room key.
• Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention.
• Assist with laundry as needed.
• Report any missing/found articles or damage to Housekeeping management.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time.

Knowledge/Education/

Experience:

Previous one (1) year experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: Basic cleaning skills. Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members to their understanding desirable. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Dependable.
