The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no‑fee program that assists men and women in their journey to complete our rehabilitation program. We are grateful for the contributions our employees make toward the maintenance and effectiveness of the programs.

$14 per hour

• Maintain and clean up the area in and around the donation trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift
• Assist donors in receiving donated items and provide receipts
• Maintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by the supervisor
• Separate and sort all donated material into the proper containers, and properly stack material as instructed by the supervisor
• Assist TSA PA/drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary
• Inform the supervisor of needed items prior to running out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes, carts)
• Secure and lock the donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a background check, including criminal history and sex offender registry
• Ability to read, write, and understand both written and verbal instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks, and hand trucks
• Ability to move product up to 75 pounds
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Our stores operate seven days per week. Work schedules are determined by management, and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage. Full‑time associates may be scheduled to work any full‑time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Salvation Army will comply with all governmental orders and any contractual obligations related to COVID‑19 safety measures, including mandatory vaccination of staff, if required. The Salvation Army will consider requests for exemptions from any such requirements on religious or medical grounds when available.
