As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the grounds of a hotel and resort location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for guests and employees.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols and site requirements.
• Collaborate with hotel or resort staff to address security-related concerns and provide support during emergency response activities as needed.
• Assist guests and employees with security-related matters and provide directions or information as appropriate.

• This is primarily a driving post.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
