• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance or information as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious behavior according to established protocols.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local authorities during emergency response situations.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
