Olomana Golf Links is a part of the Pacific Links International family of golf courses, providing a premium golf experience upon an innovative membership structure. Olomana Golf Links is located in Waimanalo, Hawaii and is hiring a part‑time Golf Shop Clerk.
Job DescriptionScope and Impact
The Golf Shop Clerk checks in and receives payment from golfers and answers basic questions about the golf course and operations.
Essential Functions
Pro Shop Operations
- Checks in golfers for tee times and processes tee time payments per internal procedures.
- Maintains accurate tee sheet data.
- Creates and updates guest files with change requests or confirmation of information.
- Maintains shop cleanliness, including dusting, vacuuming, and wiping displays.
Job Requirements
Education/Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Golf knowledge and customer‑service experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart.
Technical Skills
- Competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience operating a point‑of‑sale system.
- Cash‑handling experience.
Interpersonal Skills
- Effectively communicate with managers, guests and coworkers in both verbal and written form.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Some bending, stretching, pulling.
- Work indoors with A/C and outdoors.
