- Manage overall team operations, client coordination, and customer service delivery, including coaching and prioritization assistance with Account Associates.
- Leverage knowledge in client services, insurance processing and customer experience to develop, coach, and assist Account Associates and other team members.
- Assist Producers and Account Executives with client service commitments.
- Ensure service standards are met, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
- Serve as the day‑to‑day customer contact, troubleshooting issues and helping the client make well‑informed decisions.
- Manage new business and renewal processes, and oversee day‑to‑day client changes.
- Accountable for client service delivery through high retention, account rounding, referrals, and uneventful renewals.
- Ensure pre‑renewal information is sent within service standard and follow up with clients for timely response; coordinate timely quotes with markets.
- Manage renewal marketing plan with Producers and Service Teams, ensuring awareness and execution; create accurate proposals for renewals.
- Review quotes for accuracy against supporting documents and negotiate additional coverage/price with underwriters.
- Complete renewal bind processes and checklist, ensuring all components are documented within the file.
- Ensure accurate file documentation to minimize E&O exposure and enable quick client response.
- Current Health & Life insurance license in the state where your agency office is located.
- Ability to work toward a professional designation.
- Comfortable in an electronic environment with strong computer skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma (college preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the insurance industry or business‑related experience.
- Position involves long periods of remaining stationary, whether seated or standing.
- Must have access to reliable transportation; some travel may be required.
- Frequent and extended screen exposure and a large amount of typing.
