Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe environment and take a leadership role to ensure all safety standards are met
- Responsible for meeting all completion dates based on the overall construction schedule, including the scheduling and management of construction inspections
- Responsible for construction quality, inspection, and true up of quantities
- Representing ITG on site walks or closeout activities with customers and permitting authorities
- Must be able to identify and document issues that will cause delays and apply innovative solutions which are relayed to leadership
- Strong attention to quality construction practices and ensuring timely close out and delivery of the project schedule
- Responsible for documenting all production completed daily and obtain sign off by the crew(s)
- Monitor performance, provide guidance, and enforce compliance with company policies and project specifications
- Promptly communicate any performance issues or employee concerns to the Construction Manager for a timely resolution and to maintain team effectiveness
- Responsible for properly documenting construction utility strikes
- Responsible for material receipt and disbursements
- Practices Company safety policies and procedures and ensures they are followed
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Travel required based on project needs - maximum (4) weeks on, (1) week remote work. Per diem is provided for meals and incidental expenses during travel.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant Work Experience:
- 2-5 Years Technical experience splicing and troubleshooting fiber
- 2-5 Years Supervisory with steady work history preferred
- Must have strong knowledge in OSP construction techniques and practices (underground and aerial placement)
- Familiarity with typical traffic control setups per the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)
- Must have strong knowledge of industry standard fiber splicing techniques and practices
