If so, Kalamazoo Valley Community College invites you to apply for our part‑time instructor pool. Part‑time instructors teach on a course‑by‑course basis and play an important role in advancing the College’s mission to create innovative and equitable opportunities that empower all to learn, grow, and thrive.
While this posting may not be tied to an immediate opening, it allows us to connect with talented professionals who are interested in joining our instructional team. Qualified candidates may be considered as teaching opportunities become available.
- Teach assigned courses following College curriculum and standards
- Prepare and deliver instruction in a variety of formats (in‑person, online, hybrid, etc.)
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide timely feedback
- Maintain accurate class records in accordance with College policies
- Support student success through engagement, availability and inclusive practices
Master's degree in field of study or related discipline, or master's degree in another field with eighteen (18) graduate credits in field of study.
