Technical Writer

A Technical Writer job in Kalamazoo, MI is available courtesy of Akkodis. In this position you will develop and create technical support manuals used by internal employees, dealership technicians and customers. Technical accuracy and on time delivery of these materials is critical for customer and stakeholder satisfaction. This is a contract position.

• Write service manual, do parts cataloging and have automotive electrical diagnostics experience
• Needs to be able to look at a model and write a procedure for it
• Work with Developmental Service Engineering to develop and validate procedures on vehicles and components
• Compose clear and concise procedures

• Must have prior Technical Writing experience
• 3 years writing technical literature related mechanical and electrical products
• CAD experience is a plus – PTC Creo View
