The Supplier Development Manager will work cross‑functionally to mitigate external customer production line disruptions and past‑due purchase order lines, typically caused by supplier delinquencies, internal production execution challenges, schedule instability, manufacturing re‑work, or test equipment failures. The Recovery Manager is the "voice of the customer" to balance demand with supply, and to set priorities for fulfillment in a critically past‑due environment, with the ultimate objective of driving performance improvements.

Responsibilities- Responsible for coordinating internal and supplier execution, in order to report timely, complete, and accurate information to external customers.
- Conveys part status to customers in a manner that satisfies the customer(s) and demonstrates that Parker Hannifin has control of the situation and is mitigating in all reasonable ways customer production line impact.
- Collaborates with all support functions (within Parker and at suppliers), as needed to gain credible and timely information to provide customer feedback on a cadence consistent with customer expectations.
- Supports the production and material planning functions, to monitor material movement, arrival, and release to the production floor.
- Supports the master scheduling function to establish build priorities.
- Coordinates with the value streams to assist with part flow throughout facility.
- Prepares line‑of‑balances and monitors part movement throughout production (in‐house and at suppliers).
- Prepares reports, presentations, graphs, charts, and other documentation as needed to effectively illustrate production recovery.
- Acts as primary customer contact for matters regarding production status, schedule impacts, shipping information, and returned material.
- Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- Resolves issues concerning over‑shipments, shortages, changes, cancellations or other potential areas of order line item disconnect or impact.
- Where appropriate, coordinates or participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assists in expediting quality and engineering issue resolution and approvals.
- Addresses both simple and complex individual or systemic problems, issues or concerns that are representing a barrier to performance improvements.
- Addresses customer scorecard metrics to accurately reflect actual performance.
- Provides leadership or mentorship to others, including training, to promote the sharing of knowledge and growth of the function.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two or more years of experience within a manufacturing facility in the disciplines of Operations, Materials Planning, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Program Management or Customer Service. Experience with in an aerospace manufacturing…
