Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize automated machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support for production operations to resolve automation‑related issues and minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, control documentation, and software backups.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on automation, efficiency, and reliability enhancements.
- Ensure all control systems comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Integrate new equipment and technologies into existing production lines and control architectures.
- Extensive experience with PLC programming, development, and troubleshooting (e.g., Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley, Siemens).
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA system design, configuration, and deployment (e.g., Factory Talk View, Wonderware, Ignition).
- Strong understanding and practical experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Demonstrated ability to commission, test, and optimize automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Experience with industrial robotics, servo motion control, or machine vision systems.
- Ability to read, interpret, and develop electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
- Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Proficiency in SCADA system development and database integration (e.g., SQL).
- Familiarity with industrial vision inspection systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Understanding of IT/OT cybersecurity principles and best practices.
