Job Title:Mechanical Engineer
We provide engineering services to architects, contractors, municipalities, healthcare, and other business organizations in the design, analysis, and documentation of MEP systems.
Responsibilities- Designing detailed plans and specifications for mechanical systems
- Reviewing existing systems and processes to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
- Making changes or corrections to existing designs per customer request
- Preparing load calculations by determining the heating, cooling, and other load requirements for buildings
- Developing efficient and effective systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and fire safety
- Overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Working closely with electrical, civil, and structural engineers, as well as architects and contractors, to ensure efficient designs
- Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the design or construction phase
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience with HVAC systems in commercial buildings
- Knowledge of U.S. building codes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience with Revit
- Proficiency in design and mechanical systems
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
