Environmental Engineering or Geology Intern - Summer

Location: Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo, Michigan

As part of our Geo Sciences and Remediation team, you will gain hands-on field and office experience. Your work setting will include in the field, collecting environmental-related samples and overseeing drilling, and in the office, assisting with environmental data analysis and report development.

• Collect groundwater, surface water, soil, and vapor samples in diverse field settings throughout Michigan.
• Analyze data collected in the field to support project decisions.
• Assist in drafting a variety of environmental reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and geologists on consulting projects.
• Participate in site visits and fieldwork to gather real-world experience.

• Currently enrolled in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related program.
• Curious, analytical mindset with a passion for environmental work.
• Comfortable working independently and asking thoughtful questions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Previous field or lab experience is a plus.
