We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of next-generation, handheld surgical tools. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex mechanisms, rotating systems, and high-precision mechanical design, reminiscent of high-performance power hand tools.
In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of safety, ergonomics, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities Primary Focus:Mechanical Design & Innovation (approx. 70%)
Mechanism & System Design:
Conceptualize, develop, and refine complex mechanical designs, rotating systems, and intricate mechanisms for handheld surgical devices.Robotic Integration:
Design robust mechanical interfacesDesign for Excellence (DFX):
Apply strict DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles to optimize product quality, yield, and cost.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless electro-mechanical integration.
Advanced CAD Development:
Create robust 3D models and high-quality, production-ready 2D drawings.Data Management:
Manage the full product lifecycle and CAD data integrity within a strict PLM environment.
