Responsible for overseeing financial statements, accounting, taxes, invoices, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Duties include directing accounting, finance and taxes departments, compiling financial reports, implementing policies and procedures for financial reporting.

• Monthly and year‑end closing activities
• Group reporting to the headquarters in Europe
• Ensure correct accounting bookings and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS
• Ensure compliance with sales taxes for the majority of US states, and state and federal income taxes
• Net working capital management
• Manage team of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Coordinate and execute planning, forecasts and scenario analyses
• Respond to internal and external audits
• Execution of ad‑hoc analyses and special business tasks
• Development of controlling tools and corporate policies
• Leadership
• Participation in the digitalization of business processes in finance (implementation of dashboards, harmonization of IT systems and platforms and big data applications)

• Degree in Accounting or Finance / Controlling or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably with experience in mechanical and plant engineering industry
• Experience in balance‑sheet consolidation and management reporting systems (e.g., Oracle HFM)
• Good analytical skills and a structured independent way of working
• Ability to work in a team, a sense of responsibility and a high degree of customer/service orientation
• Proficient in MS Office
• High IT affinity
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred
• Must have solid knowledge of US‑GAAP and IFRS, US taxes (state and federal), balance‑sheet reconciliation, accounts receivable/payable, revenue recognition (POC revenue recognition would be a plus)
