The FP&A Assistant Segment Leader manages financial planning and analysis for a business segment, supporting segment leadership in achieving financial objectives. The role delivers accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and provides actionable insights to drive segment performance. It leads special projects, process improvement initiatives, and collaborates with business management to analyze results and support technology tools implementation.

• Research, analyze, and interpret financial results.
• Provide meaningful insights into drivers of financial performance.
• Work closely with business management to improve long‑term results.
• Identify and implement business process improvement ideas.
• Develop and document functional understanding of technology tools.
• Prepare segment‑level budgets, forecasts, and long‑term plans.
• Lead special projects and financial improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
• Seven or more years of finance experience.
• Five or more years of team management experience (preferred).
• Experience in a professional services firm in accounting, financial services, business advisory, or banking (preferred).
• CPA (preferred).
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with One Stream, Hyperion, or similar BI systems (preferred).
• Experience with People Soft Financials or similar ERP (preferred).
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to coach, develop, and lead managers and staff.

National & Maryland & NYC/Long Island/Westchester: $120,000 - $155,000
