Senior WMS Lead Analyst - Homedics

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a senior professional to serve as the key technical expert for our Manhattan WMi (PkMS) warehouse management system and to lead its modernization to a new, cloud native WMS.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary technical expert for the existing Manhattan WMi system, providing debugging, troubleshooting and resolution of complex system and data integrity issues.
- Serve as the technical lead for the planned WMS modernization project, architecting, planning and managing migration from the on-premise PKMS platform to a new, cloud native WMS.
- Develop and oversee production tasks for legacy and new systems, integrating the WMS with ERP and other critical applications via APIs, webhooks and other methods.
- Provide hands on support for warehouse hardware, including RF equipment, mobile devices and label printers, and collaborate with operations to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Bridge the gap between technical teams, business stakeholders and vendors to ensure the new system meets all operational and strategic requirements.
- 8-10 years of experience with Manhattan Associates WMS platforms, with deep knowledge of the on-premise WMi (PkMS) system.
- Experience with or strong knowledge of modern, cloud native WMS solutions such as Manhattan Active Warehouse Management.
- Hands on skills in IBM i, SQL DB2, and ILE RPG for legacy system support.
- Demonstrated experience leading or managing WMS upgrade and implementation projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with technical teams, business leaders and external vendors.
- Hybrid role - 3 days per week in the office.
- Moderate time on the warehouse floor; fast paced, noisy environment.
- Off hour support (evenings and weekends) may be required during peak seasons.
- Warehouse systems located in Commerce Township, Michigan; remote support provided to Riverside, California and Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
