Summary Job Description
This in-person role is responsible for the support and continuous improvement of assembly and test processes, tooling and work holding to produce fully finished precision parts for complex fluid control devices used in medical, industrial, material handling and a wide variety of other applications. We are a high‑mix environment utilizing a wide variety of custom assembly and test equipment built in house.
This role requires a team‑oriented individual with a broad range of technical skills and high attention to detail. This individual will work closely with product development engineers, quality professionals, outside suppliers and operators to ensure that products are manufactured to stringent internal and customer requirements.
- Design of tools and work holding using Solid Edge 3D CAD modeling tools or equivalent.
- Utilize precision gaging/inspection equipment with an understanding of GD&T principles.
- Read and understand hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematic diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Provide production cost estimates for product improvement programs.
- Create/modify production routers for multiple step assembly & test operations.
- Validation of production processes and equipment in accordance with ISO 9001 and customer specifications.
- Troubleshooting of complex pneumatic circuits and devices.
- Effective written and verbal communication with operators, technical and supervisory personnel including outside contractors.
- Demonstrated good decision making and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to guide and train maintenance and shop personnel.
- Computer skills to generate operator and maintenance instructions and graphics to support production processes.
- Complete detailed written reports of work completed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
- Full‑time salaried position.
- First shift days (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
