We're looking for an experienced Electric Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you'll use your technical expertise, analytical mindset, and attention to detail to repair industrial AC/DC electric motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment, all while contributing to our culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities Include- Diagnosing, disassembling, repairing, assembling, and preparing equipment for shipment
- Performing mechanical rebuilds on electric motors, pumps, and fans
- Measuring and recording data using precision tools (dial indicators, micrometers, vibration meters, etc.)
- Conducting electrical tests using multimeters, meggers, and Baker instruments
- Measuring winding resistance, RTD and heater resistances, and mechanical fits/clearances
- Participating in daily discussions on customer products and workflow
- 5+ years of AC/DC motor repair experience
- 2+ years of team coordination or lead experience
- Strong technical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to diagnose and repair motors, fans, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment - Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Self‑starter with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, or kneel for extended periods
