Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Perform precise dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies using various metrology equipment.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of measurement tools and gages according to established procedures.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine critical dimensions and tolerances.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate calibration records in compliance with quality management systems.
- Program, set up, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for automated inspection routines.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or out-of-tolerance conditions to relevant departments.
- Assist in the development and improvement of measurement processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in operating and calibrating precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs, optical comparators).
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience performing dimensional inspections and quality checks in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and calibration processes.
- Familiarity with CMM programming and operation (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Experience with automated CMM programming (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Proficiency in 3D scanning technologies (e.g., laser scanners, structured light) and associated software.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab).
- ASQ certification (e.g., CQT, CCT) or other relevant industry certifications.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, CATIA) for model-based definition (MBD) interpretation.
