CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, set-up, and operation of CNC equipment and will produce and inspect machine parts for Azon custom equipment.

• Program, set-up, and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Operate manual machines and tools including mills, lathes, drill press, grinder and saw
• Will manage multiple machines
• Machinist will produce machinery parts using a variety of metals including steel, stainless and aluminum
• Research and maintenance of tooling
• Maintains calibration of all personal inspection equipment.

• High School degree or equivalent. Completion of a machinist apprenticeship program or a CNC Machinist certificate preferred
• Mastercam software proficiency is required
• At least two years operating CNC mills and lathes
• Must be able to interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Familiar with reading micrometers, calipers and standard measuring equipment
• Ability to interpret and edit CNC programs to meet all print requirements
• G&M code programming preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good work ethic and teamwork skills
