American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Antepartum position requiring Labor and Delivery experience and fetal monitoring certification at a busy, high-volume hospital.

• Work in the Antepartum core unit (5th floor) with floating to Labor and Delivery (4th floor) as needed
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Float to Labor and Delivery or Mother Baby unit as needed, predominantly Labor and Delivery
• Float to Bronson Battle Creek Birthplace as needed
• Float to house for patient sitter needs as required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Large, busy Labor and Delivery unit with up to 10 births per day

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NCC EFM or AWHONN fetal monitoring certification
• AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
• Minimum 18 months of experience required
• Labor and Delivery experience required
• Antepartum experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Supervisor-level references required
• Proof of flu vaccination required (exemption requests must be submitted within 48 hours of signing)

• Provide nursing care in antepartum and high-risk antepartum settings with exposure to Mother/Baby care
• Travelers have first priority for floating assignments
• RTO limited to no more than 10 days
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate with no radius restrictions
• Previous Bronson internal travelers may return after 6 months
• Previous permanent staff may return after 1 year
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
