Regional Security Supervisor

Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and surrounding areas

• Full-Time:
  Core hours Mon‑Fri 2nd or 3rd shift, start times may vary.
• On‑Call:
  Supervisors are obligated to respond to incidents on sites 24/7, covering missed shifts or shift coverage.

• Access control – authorize only authorized personnel to access the site.
• Patrolling – walk interior and exterior of assigned buildings, monitoring for security, safety, or maintenance concerns.
• Camera monitoring – review CCTV for safety and security issues.
• Customer service – enforce rules and policies with de‑escalation techniques and provide quality service.
• Site supervision – coach team members, schedule, timesheet submission, discipline, and on‑site training.

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No felony convictions; must pass criminal background check.
• Pass drug test upon hire and randomly thereafter.
• Friendly, positive, professional image.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• English literacy; ability to read/interpret documents.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email, Internet).
• Willingness to obtain CPR/1st Aid/AED certification.
• Own reliable vehicle; mileage reimbursement available.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record: less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, less than 2 at‑fault accidents, no other major violations.
• Physical: sit, stand, walk throughout shift (incl. stairs); lift up to 50 lb; respond to emergencies.

Pay rate: $19.43/hour. Eligibility required: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, group accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, identity theft protection, and paid medical leave.
