We’re currently looking for an Experienced Installation Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys variety, independence, and travel. While your home base will be our Kalamazoo, MI headquarters
, the majority of your work will take place throughout South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, and the Southern Michigan–Northern Indiana border region
. You’ll play a key role supporting our expanding customer base across this corridor—bridging Michigan and Indiana with best‑in‑class installation and service.

Requirements
  • 3 years or more of CCTV and access control system installation experience
  • Programming CCTV and access control system experienced required
  • Organized, customer service, front‑facing
  • Self‑starter can work independently, and working with a team
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in small spaces
  • Proficient with power tools and electronics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Existing certifications in Lenel, Avigilon, Security Expert and NICET is a plus
What You Are Accountable For:
  • Install access control systems, CCTV, fire alarm systems and other systems in residential and commercial properties
  • Programming CCTV and Access Control experience required
  • Read blueprints and electrical drawings to determine which locations equipment will be installed in
  • Keep up to date on the latest CCTV, access control systems and fire alarm systems through product research and trainingli>
  • Educate and demo systems to customers
  • Accurately report materials used and hours worked on each job
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and errors
  • Install equipment in accordance with building codes
  • Gather and review all project documentation
  • Daily communication with customer
  • Mobile task completion
