Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform welding operations using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on metal components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
  • Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to engineering specifications.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to design requirements.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on various materials.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.3).
  • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or industrial welding environment.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with advanced welding processes (e.g., orbital, laser, robotic).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints and schematics.
  • Certification in specific materials (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum) or advanced AWS certifications.
  • Experience with fabrication, fitting, and assembly of complex components.
