Job DescriptionWolverine Lawn Services is hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Snow & Ice Management team for the 2025–2026 winter season. Operators are responsible for efficiently clearing snow from commercial properties using loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment to maintain safe and accessible conditions.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role for professionals who take pride in operating equipment safely, producing high‑quality results, and working as part of a reliable, team‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Operate loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment during snow events.
- Push, pile, and relocate snow according to site layouts and safety standards.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑shift inspections, monitoring fuel, fluids, and warning lights.
- Communicate with dispatch and Zone Leaders to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
- Record completion logs and upload site photos using company software.
- Maintain safety and professionalism while representing Wolverine on every job site.
- Prior experience operating loaders, skid steers, or other heavy equipment (
snow removal experience preferred
). - Strong spatial awareness and ability to operate safely in low‑visibility conditions.
- Availability during snow events, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Dependable, detail‑oriented, and willing to work as part of a fast‑paced team.
$22 - $35 hourly
