Part-time 8-40 hrs. /Week
Shifts:
6:30 a.m.– 2:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m.– 10:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
The purpose of this job is to supervise the safety and security of juvenile court wards and provide positive reinforcement and discipline.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Monitor and ensure the safety and security of all residents and facility staff.
- Possess clear knowledge of and adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
- Ensure individual and group interaction with residents.
- Conduct individual and group interactions with co-workers and administration.
- Perform related work as required.
Education and Experience
- At least two years of relevant college‑level course work or an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, or a related field, with completion of an undergraduate degree preferred.
- Some work experience working with juveniles is required. Working with troubled youths is preferred.
- Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
