Certified Personal Trainer

Gold’s Gym is seeking Personal Trainers to help members achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This role offers opportunities to grow within the company and rewards performance with earning potential and benefits.

• Conduct fitness assessments to design exercise programs tailored to clients’ goals.
• Assist clients in exercises to minimize injury and promote fitness; modify exercises according to clients’ fitness levels.
• Monitor client progress, provide motivation and feedback.
• Provide information or resources on general fitness, trends and health issues to benefit members.
• Demonstrate and teach exercises, offering feedback on techniques to improve safety and effectiveness.
• Promote and sell identified personal training programs, supplements, and services.
• Participate in all scheduled meetings as required.

• Must be certified by NASM, ACSM, ACE or NSCA.
• High school diploma (some college coursework preferred).
• Excellent communication and hospitality abilities.
• Knowledge of anatomy, functional exercise, basic nutrition, and basic exercise science.
• Able to achieve and maintain ambitious goals; remain current on certifications, trends, and topics in fitness.
• CPR/AED Certification.
• Ability to move and lift up to 35 lbs; standing for extended periods; maintain professional demeanor and appearance in a clean uniform.
